1Introduction to Cookie Governance

This Statutory Cookie Classification and Usage Policy governs the deployment of cookies and browser storage identifiers on Cybrexus Technology. In adherence to Section 6 of India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices) Rules, 2011, this document provides complete transparency regarding which cookies are stored, why they are utilized, their retention periods, and how you retain sovereign control to accept, customize, or withdraw your consent.

2What Are Cookies & Local Storage Identifiers?

Cookies are small text files placed on your computer, smartphone, or browser when accessing web applications. They serve essential technical functions, such as verifying active administrator and user login states, preserving cross-site request forgery (CSRF) defenses, and retaining UI layout preferences.

Under the DPDP Act 2023, identifiers linked to an identifiable digital principal constitute personal data if they can reasonably identify a user in combination with other records.

3Statutory Cookie Categories

We classify all digital cookies deployed across our systems into four distinct categories:

1. Strictly Necessary Cookies (Always Active)

Essential for user authentication, security perimeters, and session stability. Without these cookies, authenticated portals and secure document access cannot function. Deactivation of these cookies is not permitted.

2. Functionality Cookies (Optional)

Remember individual preferences such as theme selection (Light vs. Dark mode), sidebar collapsed status, and recent category filter selections across management tables.

3. Performance & Telemetry Cookies (Optional)

Collect aggregated, non-personalized metrics regarding page generation speeds, server response latencies, and transactional email throughput to optimize infrastructure performance.

4. Targeting / Advertising Cookies (Strictly Prohibited)

Zero Advertising Policy: Pursuant to Section 9 of the DPDP Act, 2023 (Safeguards for Users & Minors), Cybrexus Technology prohibits behavioral ad trackers, commercial profiling, and third-party advertising cookies across all digital repositories.

4Technical Cookie Audit Ledger

The following audit ledger details all technical cookies utilized across our application:

Cookie Name Category Lifespan Technical Function
PHPSESSID Strictly Necessary Session (End of Browser) Maintains authenticated user session token and role authorization state.
csrf_token Strictly Necessary Session Cryptographic token defending form submissions against Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF).
cyb_cookie_consent Strictly Necessary 180 Days Stores your recorded cookie consent choices under Section 6 of the DPDP Act 2023.
theme_mode Functionality 180 Days Preserves user UI theme selection (Light / Dark mode).
sidebar_collapsed Functionality 180 Days Remembers whether the admin/portal navigation sidebar was minimized.
perf_telemetry Performance Session Anonymized execution timing benchmark to detect server latency spikes.

5Consent Management & Revocation (DPDP Section 6(4))

Sovereign Right to Withdraw Consent
Under Section 6(4) of the DPDP Act, 2023, you have the statutory right to withdraw your consent as easily as it was given.

You can alter or withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the floating Cookie Settings widget located at the bottom-left of every page. If you revoke functionality or performance cookies, our script automatically purges those cookies immediately from your active browser session.
